Clutch problems

Post by cadshopper »

The clutch on our 2006 wing is not working, get very little resistance when pulling back the lever. Loosened the banjo fitting and pulled lever back, some fluid came out, but not with a great deal of force. Should the fluid come out forcefully? If not how do I determine if the problem is with the master cylinder in the handlebar, or the slave cylinder on the clutch. There is no fluid on the floor that would indicate a leak.

If it's the same oil from 2006,you should flush all the oils, brake and clutch. One thing to check is, that little bushing that the rod goes in the clutch handle sometimes the hole gets worn and will cause the handle to far.
