Reverse cable adjustment.

Is their a tutorial or printed copy on adjusting the reverse cables on an 1800 wing? I've had right side cover off and observed the cables when button is pushed in and released. The bottom cable when reverse disengaged seem like it has excessive "play" in it. Any ideas or suggestions?
