cruise control button problem

Anyone have info or photos on fixing a broken cruise control button, I broke it when i tried to pull it out (while stuck in) with plyers? I heard the crack on the inside of the button and new what had happened.

If I understand your explanations the button on and off is breaking, if these ca you must change the switch that is inside.
But if it does not stay pressed that you push it thoroughly, these the lubricant that keeps working because the fat is dry.

I am sorry you broke the button
If this is your first Goldwing please realize that 'more force' and 'plastic' usually end up in this type of problem
Many of the fasteners, buttons, and parts on the Wing are plastic - and 'more force' is a bad practice in my experience.
