Just changed air filter. After back together no speed indicated on Guage

Double check all the plugs that you unplugged. Sounds like one did not seat completely.

Does anyone know which connector would be spicific to the speedometer

If memory serves me correctly there are only a few connectors to un-do /re-do.
Unfortunately you will have to go back in to find them and re-seat them.
The one I usually forget is the radio antenna - but the other 2 connecting the radios and various readouts are under the shroud.
And of course the one connecting the center readout --
