Hi all, well where does one start, after chasing my tail with numerous electrical problems on my 2001 gl18, well more to the point fixing one,gaining another and so on. I am coming to the end of my tether, while still not solving my abs warning light code 10, but managing to fixing my speedo, then managing to find that my indicators not working after reassembling the bike. My initial reaction was it must be the loss of blinker fluid, but alas not so technical, ends up that the brilliance of the engineering department at Honda! Dismantling, cleaning and a small amount of electrolytic grease on the contacts fixed that
So you would think that it would be a simple job to put the bike back together and go for a ride, yeah nah! Now my audio display doesn't work of course it doesn't. Radio works handle bar controls work all other displays work! Any ideas on what to check, oh FYI I have already checked the towball tention and it's good
. Sorry for the sarcasm it's just that I have a bad feeling that the engineers that brought the world the Nissan zd30 patrol came from Honda.
