Honda Trip Planner problem

Post by GLer »

When I use "Export to GPS" in an attempt to save a route as a GPX file on my computer I get an HTML file that won't even open.

How can I get Honda Trip Planner to save me a legit gpx file so I can later uploaded to the new Wing GPS?

I have this problem on some browsers. Chrome seems particularly bad for it. I have multiple sites that supposedly are sending me a PDF file (i.e. a bill/statement) but Chrome instead downloads an HTML file.

Accessing the same site using Firefox usually works perfectly, downloading the correct file.

You state that it's showing up as *.htm?

Change the file extension to *.GPX, then see if the GPS can open it.

I have no issues with downloading them, and being able to open with the program I want (such as BaseCamp, etc.)
