Hi all
I am very frustrated with my 2007 gl1800. I need to replace my o2 sensors. I ordered a set but once I installed them got an F1 light. I tried everything still get F1 light. So I ordered OEM sensor from Honda incase aftermarket one were different we when I received the Honda OEM sensor it was the exact same sensor as the aftermarket one. Now I know there are 2 part numbers for each side o2 sensor one is double the price but know one can tell what the difference between the two. Can anyone help me I’m extremely frustrated.

Assuming you have read the MIL blinks and traced the DTC to the O2 sensors. You may need to erase the DTC, but you need an SCS service connector. This is from a 2012-2017 manual and yours may be different. There are 48 pages covering the PGM-FI system.

Re: O2 sensor issues
I got the FI indication googled it and i found that the O2 left sensor was bad. Honda wanted $150 USD for it so I went to an auto parts store.
I was able to get two for $120 each. The difference between left and right from Honda is one has grey and the other black covering over the wires. The part number is NTK 28800 and they're made by NGK, the spark plug company.
It only made sense to me to change both.
I don't remember how I reset the light so maybe you should google the fix.

Does that mean you didn't have the light before changing the sensors? Have you checked the code since replacing them?

FYI ... a stored, non-erased code does not cause a FI light to come on. The only time an FI light comes on is when there is a fault occurring.drainplug wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2018 2:01 am I got the FI indication googled it and i found that the O2 left sensor was bad. As for your issue, what is the DTC code that you are trying to repair ???

Re: O2 sensor issues
The 06 and up bikes can have A/F sensors instead of the traditional O2 type sensor. What model level is your 07, I can look up the correct number for it.buckcacalli wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2018 8:51 am Hi all
