I removed all my plastic cover pieces on my 2016 F6B to have them painted. With all the plastic off the bike I tried to start the bike to move it. The bike just turns over but will not start. There doesn't seem to be any spark at all but I think it's getting fuel. Could not having all the connectors plugged in that I had to unplug to remove the tupperware be the problem? If so, which connector(s) do you think could be the culprit?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Plastic off bike won't start
there are so many interconnections on the Goldwings, that if one or two that are needed are not plugged in, it won't run.
It is hard to diagnose something like that through a forum.
Not knowing for myself, what connectors fit to the fairing, I can only guess that something is not connected that is needed to let the ECM tell the plugs to fire.

There is a bank angle sensor attached inside the fairing and on the right . green connectors on my 06. I just finished getting my bike all back together after changing all my coolant lines and then it wouldn't start....No FI light but would crank...Sooooooo flipping through the manual I come across mention of the bank angle sensor...AH HA!!!!!!! Out to the garage and remove the sensor from the fairing pule it in and holding it upright. Hit the starter and she fired right up!!!CNC Nut wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 8:01 pm I removed all my plastic cover pieces on my 2016 F6B to have them painted.
