Hi all,
I have a 2003 GL1800 and my question is if I can change the start-up greeting from '"Goldwing" to something else.
Greeting at start-up

Not on the '03. That feature came later on, maybe '06 or so? You only have a choice of the greeting or not.
"To ride is the reason, the destination's the excuse."

'02 GL1800 lives in Dawsonville, GA now.
My son is going to enjoy it for many years to come.
Re: Greeting at start-up
I just turned the thing OFF
for me, it is very annoying and it delays me being able to get the Odometer reading quickly when I am topping off the gas tank.
I don't have an ego that needs to be polished with a special greeting.

Thanks Steve for your help. The bike is new to me and I'm still trying to figure it out.

This is an old article. Doesn't specify a year, but it may help. I know I could do it on 2004.
