Re: cubby cover lid
Open the gas lid. There may be a latch release on the inside.

Re: cubby cover lid
It is locked. use the key lock on the right side in the nav control panel. The lid will pop open.

Re: cubby cover lid
I assume you are referring to the two glove boxes in the main fairing (left and right hand sides)? I cant think of any cubby hole on the gas tank in front of the gas lid. If you are referring to the two cubby holes in the main fairing, then the left hand side opens by pushing the black button inset in the cover, the right hand side opens with the main motorcycle key. If you look at the right hand cubby box, then go straight back and down, you should see a shiny chrome key lock in the panel below the cubby box, you put the key in that and turn it, it will release the cover. It is intended to be more secure but I wouldn't leave much of value in there, it's still very easy to force open by a thief!!FAT MAN 65 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2018 9:51 pm I JUST BOUGHT A 2012 GOLDWING . Gary this is a 2012 there is no right hand pocket. He is talking about the cubby you get in place of the airbag. The keyhole that use to open the right hand
pocket now opens the cubby in front of the gas filler lid.

Re: cubby cover lid
I've not had the opportunity to work on a Gen 2 so I was taking a guess at the fuel lid latch possibility. Glad you pipped up Jinx. Thanks.
