Navigation screen

Post by airforce » Mon Feb 12, 2018 6:35 am

I have a 2007 Gl1800 with navigation, and some parts of the screen or LCD have blank spots or sun spots or whatever you would call them. Is there a fix or do I have to replace the unit? Thanks

Does anyone have an updated model number for the replacement screen. The link to Aliexpress in the PDF above is no longer working.

Is this the correct screen?

This image popped up on my screen when I went there.

Same screen just newer run...should be good with that! When you install, you may need to adjust the screen as described in the write up.

Did the install, everything is working fine except the screen is not nearly as bright as the factory unit. I I have the dimmer set all the way up and you can adjust it down, but its much harder to see than the original unit. Is there something I missed? If this is normal I may put the factory unit back in and live with the dead pixels.

Thanks
