Hello all, I have been told that my rear turn signal bulbs (stock factory bulbs) are hard to see, not very bright. My question out here is what has anyone else changed to and are there issues with changing to LED because of the required flash for a turn signal. What bulb number do I need to get for LED, what experiences has anyone had with trying to change to an LED, what should I buy. I would like to find something that is definitely brighter then the stock bulbs and just plug in and go.
Thanks all

SoCal make kits for GL1800. The also sell flashers. If only doing the rear, I'm not sure if a flasher is needed ... however, if you call them they should know.
One thing to note ... make sure all the led's in every bulb works. I've seen some not working correctly right out of the package. If that happens, they are quick to ship out replacements.

Yea I went with the Socal gear LED's very happy with them. You dont really need to swap the flasher. But if you don't change it your flashers will work very rapidly.

I went all LED lights on my gl1800 and put a new flasher on it ,that made turn signal work right. The flasher is under front garnish plug and play.

Make sure you don’t have a ground issue with the rear lights. Check the large gray connector under the seat with 14 pins in it for evidence of heating of the solid green wire and the plastic connector.nitefuzz wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2018 12:39 pm Hello all, I have been told that my rear turn signal bulbs (stock factory bulbs) are hard to see, not very bright.
