Have you put a voltmeter on the battery and watched the voltage while you are starting it? If you do, I think you will find it’s dropping really low and causing the memory circuits to loose their data. Your symptom is almost always a bad connection on the battery or a weak battery.Agila wrote: ↑Tue Mar 06, 2018 10:17 pm Hello Winger family, hope I could express myself better this time. Thank you for the information Tech dude. I will try checking the battery. BTW there are about 4 wires connected to the positive terminal and the negative to get power .Do you think this could be the cause of the automatic reset ? I' really appreciate your feedback. Thank you for the advice.

Don’t know if they are your issue, but I personally don’t like to have anything on the battery except the bike’s cables. Power blocks are cheap these days and are a better choice for branching these circuits.

Rob ... have you seen these. For the longest time, Eastern Beavers was the only practical one made for m/c's. And now they make a 18" harness kit that includes a relay. However, there wires to their fuse box still come in from the sides, and there ends at the crimp are somewhat exposed. Basically, they have wires coming in from at least 3 directions.Techdude2000 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 10, 2018 11:40 pm
I like this one. https://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Wiri ... /pc-8.html
Now there are 3 newer ones available. A couple of them have built-in relays. However, I like the last one best. The wire ends are protected and it looks like it has a common relay.

However, 3 new ones are now available. A couple of them have built-in relays into their printed circuit board. However, I like the last one best. The wire ends are protected, and it looks like it has a common relay easily attainable if it goes bad. The down side ... apparently the + cable is 3' long, and it would need cut for a better fit. Most DIY's won't have the crimping tool needed for a quality crimp. However, once installed, it looks like a clean, safe install.
