LED FLASHER

Hello Everyone. I'M gonna replace my WINDSHIELD soon ,so I thought I would put in the LED FLASHER WHILE I WAS CLOSE TO IT. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT FLASHER I SHOULD BUY. THANKS FOR ALL REPLIES.

Don't know on the flasher but having the windshield off doesn't get you close to it.

YEA Dave, I know but I'm on my way. I watched cruisemans garage video. I thought maybe some of you might know what flasher I should use., and is that all I need to use LED LIGHTS. THANKS FOR THE REPLY DAVE.

It is a pain but you can unbolt the dash to get to the flasher. As far as LED flashers I believe some of the major suppliers have them.
If you know what to do you can mod the OEM flasher to work with LEDs. If you switch to an LED compatible flasher it should work with the OEM
bulbs but you lose the bulb out sensor.

I assume you are asking about the mod. You can cut the run on the flasher circuit board that goes from the shunt
the big heavy wire, to the IC. This is the bulb out sense line that causes the lights to hyper flash when a bulb is out.
Have done this mod on three OEM flashers and works great with LEDs or bulbs.

Cyclemax has the flasher you need ,it is made by electrical connections.I got one from them and installed on my 1800 ,very easy with front garish to change out windshield.
