I just installed risers on my 02 and its not a bad job, although a second pair of hands helps hold the bars back up while threading in the replacement bolts. I chose the MBL risers (I think part number is 1803W) to simply bring the grips back keeping the same width, they also A great improvement I'd foregone too long. I really would rather have them back another inch but there is only so much play in the wire bundles. I didn't want to angle my grips inward at all, just back enough to ease my shoulders. I'm a tall guy but noticed I tend to reach too much during long days riding and would definitely pay for it over the course of a 1000 mile day.
