How does the intercom mute work? There is a volumn and a mute? 2007 gl1800 premium audio model

The mute lowers the volume of the radio when you talk on the intercom, different setting mutes it at different levels. If it is set to sensitive wind noise will trigger it to mute. the volume is just like the volume on the radio, it raises and lower the volume
You can probably find a download of the owners manual on line somewhere. I would suggest if you don't download one you buy one, probably can find one on e-bay or somewhere else. The 1800 has a lot of dials that do several different things. An owners manual is a must.
