FOOT WARMER PROBLEM
Hey Everyone. I pulled the front lower cover to make changing oil filter easier. So,I noticed the foot warmer cable adjusters.I put the lever in closed position. I adjusted the cable until I see the door began to close. I adjusted until it closed. Tightened lock nut. Proceeded to the other side. The adjustment ran out, before it closed.I was in a hurry,so I put it all back together. When I moved the lever open then closed, neither door closed all the way.Any suggestions? I'm gonna get to the bottom of this at some point. Thanks for your replies.

Re: FOOT WARMER PROBLEM
Here is how I adjust the doors. First I verify the cable routing is correct and it's attached to the lever correctly. Once that is done, the idea is to have them closed with the lever in a closed position. Usually I'll start with making sure the lever is all the way to the closed position. Then I turn the turn buckles on the cables until the doors are closed. However, if they are in a totally closed position, the lever usually will not hold them there when riding. So I adjust them until there is a light ticking to them as I lightly tap on the outside of each of door. I then verify that the lever is fully closed, and on most, the lever will have a feel like it wants to stay there.

Thanks GoldWingerGregg. I didn't check anything up top. I just started on the bottom. Next time I'll be more thorough. Thanks for the tip.

Re: FOOT WARMER PROBLEM
Very possible that the cable is not attached at the lever end. You will have to pull the left pocket to see this. Pull the left side trim to accesss the screws that hold the pocket in.
