Heat on my feet

I have a 2008 goldwing i just got it it has 557,898 miles on it run great but when i am riding it my feet get so hot i have foot peg they help a little but not to muchi love my bike but i can't stand much more of this. thanks

close the heat doors. On your upper dash, left side, is a lever. It says on one side, "open" and the other "close". Slide it to the close position, then check under your cowl (on the outside, just above the engine) to see if the doors have closed. Should end your problem.

Incidentally, that is a LOT of miles on your motorcycle.

SORRY MADE A MISTAKE ON MILES THEY ARE 55,789 I HAVE MADE SURE THE DOORS ARE SHUT TIGHT AND T VENTS ARE CLOSED I DO WEAR TENNIS SHOES BUT I HAVE BEEN WEAR ON MY OTHER BIKES FOR OVER 40 YEARS AND NO HEAT PROBLEMS I HAVE TRIED MY MOTOR CYCLE BOOTS IT HELPS BUT STILL A LOT OF HEAT. THIS IS MY FIRST GOLD WING I HAVE PUT ABOUT 5,000 MILES ON IT AND I LOVE IT BUT THE HEAT IS 95 F DOWN HERE IN SWAMPS LANDS .THANKS
