Disabling Headlight Adjustment Block - 2012-2017

Is there a way to disable the headlight adgustment block, so that I can adjust them on the fly? I found this thread viewtopic.php?t=25723, but I still could not get it to work. I have a 2017 ABS (Level 3), with a 4 pin relay.

If you're wondering why it's important to me; in the daylight, I burn the high beams on my other bikes to increase my visibility. Using the brights on the Gold Wing will render the turn signals invisible to oncoming traffic. Aiming it's low beams up serves the same purpose as burning the brights, but since they're farther from the winkers, my communications to turn are still seen. This worked wonderfully on my 2002, 2006 and then the 2010 with the dial on the left fairing. Not so much on the 2017 though.

I get where you are coming from, aiming the low beam upwards to sort of act as high beam. Being seen in daylight is important for sure, and I cannot help with what you are attempting, but how come you do not fit Daylight Running Lights (DRL), they are far more effective than pointing low beam upwards during daylight.

I use the Tridium LED Fog/Running/Driving/Turn Signal Lights, which are very bright while the fog lights are on. I do use these as a solution during daylight riding, but you can never be too visible, so I was hoping that I could also use the headlights with the same advantage I enjoyed in my previous GL1800s that had the adjustment dial on the left-side fairing.

The mods to the circuit only work if the bike in question has the knob for adjustment. If it has the up and down push buttons it’s a no go due to the system being able to detect the lack of the neutral signal in the gauge assembly. Honda and their lawyers are to blame.
