My spring came off my rear stand and I am not sure where it is suppose to be connected anyone have a diagram of where to hook it up?

Just put mine on after taking it off. It's not easy to put on. There are two posts, one forward of the pivot, and one on the center stand. I used a wire wrapped around the rear end of the spring (the long hook end) and a vice grips to pull the rear spring end over the CS post. You may need a helper to do this. Use a little ingenuity to figure out a method.

Allow me to save you some of the trouble expplane had...bend the spring and place coins in between the bends to lengthen the spring, then remove them once the spring is in place.

That's clever - why can't I think of these things?

Have a look at How to lubricate your (side) kickstand and you can see pictures of exactly how this is done. It works great!

I should have waited till you replied. I had a duce of a time getting that spring on. Did you use half-dollars or dimes? Did you use two for each, one of each side or was just sticking one in enough. That's really a brilliant idea.

It does tend to hack up the coins a bit, so I used pennies, to save on cost. :)
