Fog Lamps

Post by poppajim »

Hello I have a 2007 gl1800 Premium Audio model . Riding home last night I knowticed my fog lamps are not working. Had the bulbs replaced a couple months ago. Funny thing is the green light on the switch lights up when I turn the highbeams on. I thought that would come on with the low beams on. Anyway the lights dont work either way. I installed these a couple years ago and had to install the switch in the left side panel in that process. Could that switch be bad?

You will need a multimeter, or a mate with one. If you fitted them it should be easy, any cheapo one will do basic resistance and current test. if the indicator lights up, good chance the switch itself is ok, but no guarantee.
If at first you don't succeed, hide the evidence.

Thanks for getting back to me. I thought I posted it was a loose connection. It seems when I set that switch panel back in place it puts pressure on the wires. Moved some wiring around. Working now. Again thanks

I thought I saw a post that said it was a loose connection,... maybe it disappeared.
