Windscreen stuck on high
As above,i know this is an issue with the center bracket,i have windscreen off,but i have no idea how to access that center bracket/ratchet to repair or replace,is there a you tube vid on this? It seems i might have to remove the dashboard to get at this?

With the windscreen off, are you not able to move the adjuster body all the way up ???
The adjuster body is part #30. The windscreen attaches to it.

should not be broken on a 2016 and it's still under warranty if it is.

Re: Windscreen stuck on high
On my 2005 you pull the levers on both sides of the dash upwards and then manual pull the screen up or push down. My is stuck, also in the down position. I checked it out and pulled the front cover off and discovered the three slides (left, middle and right) were stuck. So I removed them and replaced them after lubricating them with vasoline and they worked. But at the top of the dash where the windshield touches the slippery tape looking stuff (for not better description) was worn and needed replacement. I did not replace it at that time and now the windshield is stuck, again. But being only 5'7", I don't care. It is perfect for me all the way down.
It ain't the destination but the getting there. You are not lost until you run out of gas.

I know people say we spend too much money on our rides, but I can't hear them when I'm 1000 miles away!

Re: Windscreen stuck on high
I had success with dry silicone spray on my GL1500. I had the garnish off my GL1800 to install the Pathfinder front directional and sprayed it down as a PM feature. Was and still is working okay. Dusty area and didn't want the oil up there.
