Goldwing Trike passenger weight limits
I read the weight limits on regular Goldwings but would like input on weight limits for 2 rear wheel and 3 rear wheel trikes. It has to affect the rider weight limits I would believe. Thanks for your help.

Re: Goldwing Trike passenger weight limits
Don't have specifics, probably varies by trike conversion manufacturer. I routinely have upward of 500 pounds of me, the wife, tools, luggage, cooler, rain suits, gas etc for overnighter/long weekends. That has been across an RSV Hannigan and a GL1800 Motor Trike.

Every motorcycle can out perform it's rider.

Thank you, I read where the regular 2 wheel version passenger weight is in the 400+ .

In my mind, not more then 140lbs ... anything heavier then that, and ... well
However, it varies by trike manufacture. The best way to find out is to go to your trike's Owner's Manual. If you don't have one, many manufactures provide that info online by going to their web page.

Greg, somewhat confused by your response. I'm looking for total passenger weight for trikes. Don't understand the 140#

hell, just me and my son weigh in at 270+330 and my 1800 did not have any problems at all.
and yes, it has a Michelin CT on the back.
with a trike, you have a much stronger rear suspension, so I would add 300# easily to just the average rider's weight of 175-225 lbs.

Thank you. I weigh 380 and the wife is 220 and I would think we should have no problems on a trike but wanted to get other opinions.

We are probably talking about 2 different things. I'm referring to women. I like woman with small underwear. If their wight is above 140lbs, they don't get invited.AZgl1800 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 6:54 pmthat is totally ridiculous.GoldWingrGreg wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 3:38 pm In my mind, not more then 140lbs ... anything heavier then that, and ... wellHowever, it varies by trike manufacture.
