Trailer For Goldwing

Hi, I have a question about a trailer I built for my 2007 Honda Goldwing

I live in Canada and Built a single wheel trailer, because the trailer is a single wheel and when attached to the bike becomes part of the bike do I need a trailer Plate?
The DMV here does not seem to know

Tom, you need to get your local DMV to sort this out for you with Alberta Government. In Ontario you would require a license plate and registration.

A trailer is a trailer, attached or not.

Some states here in the US require a separate tag for the trailer, some do not. years back when we were at Wing Ding I noticed a lot of trailers without a license plate on them, I don't remember which state they were from but the owners said their state does not require a license plate for a trailer. Here in Ca they do but it is PTI sticker. Permanent Trailer Identification sticker. It's been years since I had a M/C trailer but if I remember right you only had to renew the sticker every 5 years but things could have changed by now, but I know you do need a license plate. There is a difference between a travel trailer and a cargo trailer. My Jayco trailer had a regular plate and had to renewed every year

Utility trailers are defined in SC Code of Law 56-3-130 and -720, but far more do not require registration or plates

I would say it needs a trailer plate. It hooks behind a vehicle and trails it, making it a trailer whether it has 1 wheel or 100.

It looks like Alberta requires trailers to be registered and have a license.

I can't tell from this is there is a distinction between single wheel or double, but I agree with 823JIM.
