Fl light, no flashes, rpm surges at idle

I can drive about 15 miles then Fl light comes on. Rpms dropping at idle, but if clutch us out partially surges stop.

When the light comes on stop and put the side stand down, leave the engine running, and watch for a code to flash.

a long flash equals 10, so 2 long flashes = 20

then the short flashes follow up, and they are "1" each...

so 2 long and 5 shorts equals FI of 25

It is a trike and the kick stand has been removed. It is a 2001 with 68,000

You will need to remove the seat, and pull the DTC codes stored in the ECM's memory. See the PGM-FI section in the Service Manual.
