Smokey reverse.
Smokey reverse.
Hi all, yesterday I was coming out of the garage in reverse and about 5 seconds later I see smoke coming out from the left side under the bottom fairing.lin about another 5 10 second the smoke was gone. Can some one tell me what can cause this and what to check to resolve this issue? Bike is a standard 2002 with 164,000 miles in it,but still run and drive perfect. Happy holidays.

Maybe something had dripped onto the exhaust and boiled off as you were backing out....

Re: Smokey reverse.
That would be my thought as well. Did you park it on the side stand? Did it smell like coolant by any chance? I've had that happen and did what you were explaining.... only I didn't use reverse.DenverWinger wrote: ↑Tue Dec 25, 2018 9:45 am Maybe something had dripped onto the exhaust and boiled off as you were backing out....
