Towing GL1800 trike with front wheel off the ground
A friend of mine has a 2006 GL1800 trike and would like to be able to tow it behind his car with the front wheel off the ground, Can any one tell me of an oilier or any way to do this

This has been discussed many times here. Basically, it's a bad idea, as the transmission is not lubricated when the engine is not running. So either:
- Run the engine on the bike when this is being done, and limit the speed it is being towed
- Remove or otherwise disconnect the driveshaft connecting the rear wheels of the trike to the engine, so that the transmission is not being turned by the wheels

Thank you for the come back, Another friend of mine had a Buick he towed behind his motorhome and had a pump installed that would circulate the transmission oil, Wonder if that could be done with the motor oil. If the oil was pumping thru the whole engine would that not be good enough

You can get a decent light weight open trailer for under $1500.
