Heated Seat on 2013 Gold Wing Level 3

Anyone please,
This typing is about my Heated Seat on my 2013 HONDA Gold Wing Level 3.

I've taken my bike to HONDA several times about the Heated Seat not warming properly.

They always say it's not a problem they can reproduce and try and fix or it's not COLD enough for them to check.

My Seat (the area that my Butt Cheeks touch)
(the front Seat, not the Passenger Seat) seem to only get very slightly warm.

Even though the setting is on the highest number, it does not get warm enough to have to ever adjust the dial to a lower number because it never get hot enough.

But, my backrest (the original 1 piece seat part that's at my lower back area) gets very hot. Soo hot that I think it will burn the backrest so I turn the adjusting dial down to a lower number.

I've brought this to the attention of the Dealership (several Dealerships) and they tell me that this part of the seat should not get warm or hot.

I do and have experienced that when I am in a low gear and shifting to a higher gear, the seat and hand grips noticeably get warmer. But once in the higher gear and riding for a while it seems as if it got turned OFF.

I do have heated seats in my 2000 Monte Carlo (Pace Car) and know how heated seats works. And I know my Gold Wing seat shouldn't work nowhere near like my Monte Carlo heated seats. But I think I should have my seat area where my Butt Cheeks are the same warmth as the backrest warmth on my bike.

Does anyone here know if this is a problem???

Are you having such a problem???

Any suggestions on what I should do???

Thanks.

Onelegger.
I had a 2006 GL1800, & now, a 2010 GL1800 that I installed (inline plugin=idiot proof [me]) a Honda GL1800 Heated Seat Amplifier. Both worked great & presented no problems. Can not set seat warmer more than "3" on the selector or it gets too hot. You may have other problems but this might be an inexpensive fix. I ordered online thru: electricalconnection.com - June of 2017 & price was then: $44.95 w/6.85 USPS. Remove the seat, plug in, replace the seat = done!
Others may also have had +/- experiences with this product ....(?)...but worked for me.

He should not need a heated seat amplifier on a 2013. My 2012 will cook your rear off real quick on high. Sounds like there is something wrong with the heating element. Sorry, no help with what could be the problem.

I have a 07 that I did this same thing and it work great for me too. I bought mine from cyclemax and yes it's an electrical connections product.

It's not what you buy, it's what you build.
