My cleaned injectors have returned and am looking forward to the installation tomorrow. So the last few years I'd been wondering about the state of my valve clearances and how well the injectors flowed. As I got closer too 200K I decided it was time to dig in and find out. The valves were checked and adjusted a few weeks back and posted the results earlier this month.
The injectors I labeled in cylinder order when sending them off, asking Bill to please flow them in that order if possible as I knew I would be getting a report. He e-mailed me and said it was no problem. As you can see in the 1st photo apparently he kept them in order all the way through the process. A nice touch.
The photos tell the story and I anticipate an all around better running engine with maybe (?) slightly better mileage. Definitely looking forward to the next 200K.

Re: My injector cleaning
Very nice. I was wondering if adding an injector cleaner would have helped over the years but you wouldn't know unless you pull them and have them professionally checked.
It's not what you buy, it's what you build.

Re: My injector cleaning
Thats right. I had two goals in mind doing this. The first, I just had to know how well they flowed. The second reason was because back in the day when I owned a bike with multiple carburetors once or twice I had to have the carbs synchronized. Now the injectors are "synchronized".

I've sent a few GL1800 injectors off for cleaning, and the report looks similar to yours. Something I've always made note of, no report on any thus far indicated signs of leakage.
