Triple Tree

Post by jcsouders5464 » Fri Feb 08, 2019 1:04 am

I am always up for performance upgrades as it is cheaper than buying a new bike. I have heard some great things about the Traxxion Triple Tree and have been wondering if anyone here knows what the OE Camber is on the Triple tree is and if using a trike triple tree would be bad on a regular wing?

1975 Honda GL1000 Mule deer really liked it
1982 Honda CM450E 118K when finally fell apart
2007 Yamaha V-MAX Rejetted Carbs made it scary fast.
2014 Goldwing Basic in black

Ride everyday except when raining (or snowing) on the way to work.

A trike triple tree = an increased rake angle! While this is a good thing for reducing steering effort on a trike conversion. it is NOT a good thing for a 2 wheeler

Trail on a wing is I believe really close to 30 degrees? Wouldn't the traxxion triple tree naturally quicken your steering due too it having no flex compared to the wings cast piece. There is a Traxxion 3 part video on u tube where Max is talking to wing owners and it is very informative. I believe he does a stock triple tree flex demonstration in one of the parts. Or maybe another desperate video?? Cant remember!...I know its there in u tube..A real eye opener!
