Phone Charging Accessory Question

Post by ilovewmr »

Hello again GoldwingDocs,
2003 GL 1800 Trike. I ordered one of those accessory 12 V phone charging kits that you install in the left hand storage box below the left handle bar. I installed it and plugged it into the already made ready (red) plug, down in the harness. Turned on the key and presto, 12 Volts accessory! I plugged in my phone and it works. Great! However, I have a question for you professionals, if you don't mind helping out a rookie again. When the phone charger is plugged in, is the stereo supposed to go off during the charge? I hope so! Please tell me some good news. Thanks again!

used mine to power j&m bluetooth dongle and has no effect on ANYTHING.
 I know people say we spend too much money on our rides, but I can't hear them when I'm 1000 miles away!
