Had an ‘06 and I was able to remove the inner liner of the trunk and found an OEM plug that I could get power allowing me to install 12 volt outlet in the trunk. It was behind liner in a boot. Does the same apply to my 2016 audio/comfort? I already installed the clutch side cubby one. Thanx

Yes Tom, that would be the vanity mirror light connector.

Re: 12 volt power
I think it is 5 amp max. So, good for hooking up a USB charging port for charging your cell phone or tablet. That is what I did with mine.
Re: 12 volt power
cool beans i had one on my '06 and it wasnt mounted anywhere. i just mad a plug if u will with the 3 prong OEM and the female cig lighter end on the other. i installed a trunk lid organizer so drilling through the liner would have been not applicable. so as long as that plug is still there, im good to go. thanx
