Tyre size options

Hello everyone, I see the new 2018 Yamaha Star Venture has Bridgestones - front 130/70R18, rear 200/55R16. The front tyre is the same as my GL1800. Question: will the wider 200 rear fit my 2008 GL1800 Airbag? Anyone done it? Any handling issues? I don’t want to try a car tyre but want the wider rear tyre. Thanks in advance for any guidance and comments.

Yes it will fit. Don't know about handling, I have been running car tires for 11 years.
