Rattle
Rattle
Pretty sure I have read something before but im old and cant recall!!! Lol. brand new 2016 wing. took it out today for a quick ride. NE Ohio weather permitted it. Hear a rattle or something similar from what sounds like the rear trunk area. Only hear it when I hit some bumps, not constant. Thought I read something about spacers or something similar...Thanx to all Tom

Re: Rattle
When it's reproducible, try reaching back and pushing on the passengers back seat. If it goes away, make sure that your trunk striker's screws are tight, and that all your hinge bolts are there and tight. If all that is good, you might consider installing a rear trunk support kit.

Re: Rattle
Sorry ... I re-read my post. Correction, reach back and push on the passengers back rest to put pressure on the trunk lid.

Re: Rattle
my rattle turned out to be the trunk lid hinges. used some draft sealing foam ( comes in a roll w/ sticky adhesive) and placed it inside the hinge while open.. have to replace it every so often as the foam compresses .
I know people say we spend too much money on our rides, but I can't hear them when I'm 1000 miles away!
