5 pin audio plug

Post by loopy »

I would like to make my own ear plugs with 5 pin plug just to listen to music in my helmet.
Does anyone know if the male plug can be purchased and if so where and is there a specific name for the plug.
I have checked my local electronics shop but cannot match the plug.
Help please

That's a 5-pin DIN connector.

Amazon has the adapter that I use. Small, neat and out of the way. Just plug a set of earbuds into it and you are good to go.

You may be able to find it on the new Australian Amazon - dunno.

Actually, here is one available through https://www.amazon.com.au/DoneCenter-3- ... ay&sr=8-20
