Bottom right fork bolt
Can't get bolt out of bottom of right fork. Spins. Put spring pressure on it still spins. Can't take fork apart. Suggestions please. Used impact also.

Re: Bottom right fork bolt
Will try that did once maybe not hard enough. Put full progressive. Spring force on it. No luck. Might just have to drill bolt head off.

Re: Bottom right fork bolt
With the fork tube still assembled, I have used an air impact wrench with 100% success.
Even after a friend tried to get his off with a standard hex wrench and got it turning but not coming out, I was successful in using the air impact wrench.

Re: Bottom right fork bolt
When I do it, I use the highest speed setting/impact setting. The speed is not that fast but it is quick enough to jolt it loose.

Re: Bottom right fork bolt
Took it apart. Put visegrips on damper rod close to tube opening ,open end wrench between visegrips an and tube so as not to damage top of tube. Used large screw driver to pry between visegrips and wrench, then used impact bolt came right out.
