Hey gang, my buddy has very short legs, so he had his 2016 lowered.
He keeps dragging the centerstand in corners and would like to remove it.
Can anyone tell me how it's held in place?
Do we have to remove the mufflers to get it off?
Does it pivot on an axle or does it have two separate bolts?
Any and all hints and help gratefully requested!!
Despite a lot of googling,
I can't seem to find a parts diagram anywhere
I'm worried about him hitting the ground and lifting the
rear wheel in a turn. That could be fatal.

Re: Center stand removal??
Thanks! That's what I was looking for.
Looks like a left hand bolt on the right and a socket head screw on the left.
At least now I know what I'm up against.
Does anyone know if I have to remove any heat shields or mufflers
to reach this thing?

Re: Center stand removal??
Just the two bolts and the spring. Mine had blue loctite and was rather difficult to break loose. I ended up using a floor jack on a wrench to break it loose!!
