speaker covers
Does anyone have a sure-fire method for keeping the speaker covers on the instrument panel from coming dis-lodged? I've lost three of them so far and am tired of replacing them. It usually happens after hitting a sharp bump. Sure would appreciate some good ideas.

Re: speaker covers
1. Run a black wire fishing leader through the holes in the dash anywhere behind the grill, or drill a couple special holes for it. Drill a tiny hole in one of the grill's mounting tabs and pass the swivel clasp through it. Lock the clasp.
or
2. Mount a Velcro coin on the back of the speaker grill. Mount the other half of the coin anywhere on the large flat plastic areas behind the grill.
or
3. Try passing tiny zip ties through the slots that accept the grill's tabs, they might work the same way as they do for the side cover grommets.
or
4. Sink a sheet rock screw through the grill and into the plastic dash behind it, being careful not to hit the speaker cone itself. This is especially handy because you can just back the screw out when you want to remove the grill.
