CD player
I have a 6 disc cd player in my 2004 1800. It gives me a "mechanical error" message when at the end of one disc, and loading the next. Is this something I can fix?

Good question, is it something you can fix? You know your skills and limitations better than anyone. The real trick will be getting any small broken plastic parts you need. Will you be able to make them?

Re: CD player
Your best bet is to remove the unit, and carry it into a Honda dealer so they can send it to Honda authorized repair center. The authorized repair center usually has a flat fee to repair it. You might want to contact your local Honda dealer for better direction since that Service Bulletin is rather old.
Sorry ... not able to posts PDFs. If you PM me your email address I will send you Honda's Service Bulletin.
