Help with horn 2008 Wing
I would like for someone to send me a pic of the Gold Wing horn that fits a 2008 model. 01-17 are probably the same. I need to see how they mount. I'm thinking about mounting a set on my 2016 Yamaha Vmax. The Vmax horn is absolutely pathetic. With the motor running you can barely hear it. My 08 Wing horns are loud. Any help would be greatly appreiciated. Thanks.

I believe they're mounted (dual horns) off brackets off of frame on or near the radiator. You cam actislly.install any horn you want as long as the ground wire is grounded and the positive is hot. I have a couple of cop car horns I used to throw on my bikes to scare buddies.

Seeing as how you are interested in mounting one on a V-Max, you might take a look at the way Harley mounts theirs on similar looking bikes. Also, if you have difficulty finding a Goldwing horn, Harley horns are also more car sounding. They can be purchased in painted or chromed from just about every motorcycle aftermarket company there is ... Add on, Kuryakyn, etc etc.
