Panasonic model CR-LH01E0AJ CB Radio Channel won't change

I have a Panasonic model CR-LH01E0AJ CB Radio I can't get it off channel 0.
I've powered off, removed the power cable from the unit still won't change.
I've tried all 3 XM radio channels still the same. I can't find any useful info on this unit.

Have you tried cleaning the channel switch real good with contact cleaner???

I tried that contact cleaner still didn't work.

Question do I need to have a headset connected to change the channel?
I've been trying it without headset connect but with speaker selected.
Why I haven't connected headset I don't have one yet its on my to get list.
