zumo 595lm
I have a 595lm on a 2012 non nav. I loaded a little over 8 hours of music not realizing it was going on internal storage, that left me with a little over 400MB left on internal storage, so i have removed all music to free up internal space. I have a 32 GB storage card installed. I'm having difficulty installing music on a thumb drive to plug into the trunk. How can I have my hours of music in the most simplistic way? I need explanation to the finest detail as I'm not a technical guru. Thank You for all assistance

I don't have the exact same audio system, but I believe you should be able to access the USB input by pressing the AUX button until USB is displayed.

Did you format the thumb drive before using it? Some drives have proprietary folder structure and hidden files. Make sure you use a quality thumb drive. Do a complete format using FAT32.
You have to copy the music as MP3, the unit will not accept AAC (Apple). Setup folders on the thumb drive and copy the different genres into each folder. Some say there is a limit to the number of songs in each folder. I have a couple with 80-90 songs in each one.
As said above, make sure you have the aux selected to USB symbol. You can change songs by using the up down buttons and change folders by holding it for a few seconds.
I have the same bike and have no problems.
