Very Low Volume in Headsets - 2002 GL1800
Have tested 4 different J&M headsets 2 that were inside the helmet and 2 that were not installed in a helmet. 4 different cables. Both front and back hookup have the same volume level on all headsets and cables. Mute is not on, actually you can tell a slight difference when putting the mute on, raising and lowering of the volume you can tell all of that is working. It's just with max volume setting and no mute that the headset volume is so low that you would not be able to hear anything riding down the road.

I guess you know there is a different setting for headset volume and outside speaker volume. Also do you have the AVC set all the way up?

Yes AVC on High, with max volume you can barely hear. Thank you for your reply to my post. I am willing to try anything that can help.
