Hi guys. It's time for my 2008 GL 1800 to have it's 32,000 mile valve check and I don't know who to trust in the Atlanta area. I'm actually up on the NE side near Gainesville. Suggestions of places you would recommend (and that you have used) would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Ron

Call Bill Ladigo "Flyone"
he has a very good friend who can change out the rear end of an 1800 in 15 minutes.
I watched the guy pull the shelter off an 1800, fix something under there, and put it back together in 15 minutes.
sorry, but I forget his name. He lives on the east side of Atlanta
FWIW, the guy has about 8 or 9 bikes on his place for spare parts.

All the shops I visit are over here are on the West side not far from the AL line so that would be a long ride for you. Plus I do my own maintenance so I just get parts from them. There is a shop in Jasper called R&R Trikes & Bikes, We (our chapter) stop in there usually when we are up that way just to see what they have new and usually to pick up some J&M parts or components. Some of our chapter members have used there Shop in the past and been happy with their work but personally I have not had them do any work. Good luck finding a shop.

gwrra-ga.com you may want to check with these folks, I'm sure they will have a chapter near you with folks who can point you in the right direction for a good shop. Good luck.

Found (and utilized) Motorcycles and Trikes of Atlanta. They're actually in Lawrenceville. Nice guys, great reviews. They're a small, two man shop and they work on all Japanese bikes, especially Wings. Did the valve check and slapped some new brakes on the Wing. Good to go. Thanks to those of you who responded to my request.
