rear shock

Post by SgLuBiE »

Morning everybody! I tried to order a set of service dvd's but they are backordered. Does anyone have a link to how you install a rear shock spring? Not really worried about the spring, just what I have to do to get the shock out and the procedure to bleed it. Also, is it worth the extra $ to get the braided stainless line with the spring? Thanks!

Removing the tank is the best way. Once removed you can easily see it and get to it. Yes the stainless steel line is a great investment while you have it apart.
It's not what you buy, it's what you build.

Traxxion Dynamics has an instruction sheet on their web site showing how to rebuild the rear shock and reservoir, using their braided hose, and another showing rear spring replacement. They can be found on this page, one about half way down and the other nearer the bottom.
