I have a 2008 GL1800 VIIIA, comfort, nav, abs, airbag. The previous owner had lots of add-ons and big nest of extra wires under the plastic. I plan to clean them up this winter. Attached is my fuse panel, everything looks ok except there are 2 black wires going to the accessory connections. You can see them at the upper left hand corner of the fuse panel. Are they factory wires or add-on by the previous owner?
I couldn’t find a picture of the actual fuse panel in the service manual to compare, they show only lots of diagrams.
Your help is appreciated.
Kenny

Re: Fuse Panel help needed
The two wires on the accessory terminals are previous owner installations. There is nothing connected there from the factory.

Re: Fuse Panel help needed
Not only are there no OEM wires going to the accessory terminal, but there are no extra wires going to the battery terminals either. At each battery post there should only be a single battery cable.

Re: Fuse Panel help needed
Sharp eyes, the extra connector to the battery post is for my heated gears. I think I will undo the wires to the accessory connections and see what stop working, if any. A project for January.
Thank you people. Kenny

What ever is connected to the ACC terminal will only work with the power on.
