Passenger arm rests

Question is I’m looking to put arm rests for the wife. I have a 2002 GL1800.
I have looked online in a dozen sites. Any suggestions and or reviews of what some of you have installed.
It’s hard to go off of picture and not being able to see them first hand sucks! Give me the good, bad and what you like and dislike about what you have installed.

I like the Show Chrome armrests.

They mount between the passenger grab rails and the seat. I prefer this installation because they are not mounted to the ABS plastic trunk that can break easily.

The price is pretty good too considering all the others.

I always liked the look of the Hondaline ones, even before I owned a GL1800. They were early on my shopping list once I bought the bike. Install is a bit more labor intensive than others. They are not as big which I like better.

I take it they have an adjustable tension on the swing? Do you currently have these installed? Any issues having to tighten the swing on a regular basis? I would have to agree it’s a much more solid mount then others I’ve researched.

I had a set on my 92 Wing. of course they have improved a lot since then, but make sure what ever set you get that the trunk can open without opening the arm rests.

The tension is adjustable to some degree. The attaching bolt can be tightened slightly but it has not been needed since they were installed in 2011. We've been using them for the past eight years with no issues at all. I have recently transferred them from my 2003 to my new 2017. And, they are designed properly. They do not have to be swung out to open the trunk.
