Left hand controls Replacement

I need to replace the Left hand handlebar controls on my F6B

Should be the same as a GL1800?

I have no idea how????:confused:

Any help much appreciated (Full every Word Description)

Any Photos more appreciated

The F6B will only match some Goldwings as many models have more features than the F6B. It all depends on the options level.

But the way the F6B is wired from the left hand controls should be identical to the way a gl1800 is wired as they would go down to the same connection

I checked the part numbers and they are different. Looking at the parts fiche, the Gold Wing unit is backlit, the F6B looks like it is not. So, the wire connectors will be different. If they are, you will need to replace the wire connector and leave the backlight wires out of the connector.

My 2001 GL1800 does not have back-lit controls so maybe an older version would work for you? Might be harder to source though.

Here's one from an 1800 on ebay. I'm not sure if the cb part would hook up to anything or if you can take it off.
