Re: Front brakes
Yes it is apparently leaking at the fork seal. Is that a hard fix?

Re: Front brakes
Just like newday777 asked, it depends on your capabilities. And like my dad has said, we can fix that, all you need is time and money.
There is alot of info here to fix that yourself if you choose.

It's not what you buy, it's what you build.

Ya know what happens when you assume.....Asphaltmaniac wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 6:54 pmYes I did see that. But he did ask about over filling the brake reservoir so Im going to assume it happened.
Yes he mistakenly thought he 'might' have and thus the original question regarding overfilling if it would leak at the caliper ....but notice he realized after further investigation it wasn't brake fluid.

Oh I don't know, he didn't say might of at the beginning. And besides dont you think the fr brake master cyl is sorta far away from the forks.newday777 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 7:10 pmYa know what happens when you assume.....Asphaltmaniac wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 6:54 pmYes I did see that. I'm thinking he must of been adding brake fluid with one of those super squirt water guns? ha!

Re: Front brakes
I had the forks seals leaking on my VTX1800 and one on the Goldwing was just starting to leak a little...I came across a handy tool known as a "Seal Buddy/Mate",i watched a Demo on E-Bay and made one myself from a plastic bottle, removed the dust seals..carefully...and used the tool as instructed on the video to remove any grit etc,did it work??..Yes it did,on both bikes, never leaked again...
