Found fastener missing on both sides where the fan brace holds the upper cowling.
Have done the internet boogie. Bought a Factory manual turned out to be all electrical.
Attaching pic.
Could use some insight please.

Re: Missing fasteners on faring
The fastener goes in from the under side. If you look into the fork tunnel area, there could be more missing. Part #28 in the fishe below. Usually those are referred to as plastic rivets. Be sure to get the OEM ones.

For newer 5th gen Wings, Honda change to a different design for those rivets. The newer style holds far better, are much cheaper, but harder to remove. You might consider the newer style. Part #29.

Re: Missing fasteners on faring
Thanks for the replies. I considered a threaded fastener with rubber washers.
The top part is slotted.
Is that correct or has it been broken?
Factory service manual on order BTW

Without a backed up view for a reference, I believe I'm looking at your picture correctly. That's the left side basically under the left front pocket, and the left radiator is in the picture. If so, my above instructions are correct. Yes, the above part is suppose to be slotted. The best fasters are the ones I listed.Moody Dawg wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 12:19 pm Thanks for the replies.
